Steffen Cornwell
Steffen Cornwell graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology (M&T) in 2020, earning dual degrees in Computer Science and Entrepreneurial Management.
After graduation, he started Levra Labs, a small custom software services company focused on supporting nonprofits and social enterprises in Philadelphia. In 2024, Levra Labs generated close to a quarter million dollars in revenue, working closely with mission-driven organizations to build technology solutions that fit their needs.
Alongside his professional work, Steffen has volunteered consistently to support job seekers with digital skills. He has spent four years volunteering in the computer lab at Whosoever Gospel Mission and has independently operated the computer lab at Face to Face for the past two years, helping community members navigate online job applications and resources.
George Yang
George Yang began his career at the Center for Global Development, a development think tank, where he conducted research and policy analysis on immigration, labor force participation, COVID-19 vaccine distribution, and international development finance.
He met Steffen during their sophomore year at the University of Pennsylvania. They lived together in a shared house, where George served as house manager. During this period, they became good friends.
George graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Nursing and Healthcare Management (NHCM) Program, a dual-degree program combining clinical nursing education with business and healthcare management training. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research focuses on public goods provision, the measurement of economic misallocation, and methods to improve resource allocation and social welfare.
